The national president of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno, announced that the party's legal department will defend the people detained during the march on Saturday, November 15, at the Zócalo in Mexico City. The capital's government reported that 18 people are detained, including three who will be prosecuted for attempted homicide. The PRI leader accused the protesters of being "detained by the MORENA narco-government." He announced that they will have the full backing of PRI lawyers to achieve their release. He also stated that lawyers from legislators are available to provide free legal advice. He announced that families can call the phones (55) 5729 9600 and (55) 5541 9100 to be assisted. Starting tomorrow, they can also go directly to the offices of the National Executive Committee of the PRI, where they will receive immediate attention.
